Pakistan, Sept. 18 -- A special committee of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the Radio Pakistan Peshawar incident of May 9 and 10, 2023, sought a comprehensive, transparent and evidence-based review of the investigation and cases registered in connection with the incident. The committee, chaired by Provincial Minister for Law, Aftab Alam, met to examine the facts, investigation process and legal and administrative aspects related to the incident, said a press release. The committee summoned former investigating officer Wajid Shah, who briefed members on the investigation, evidence and progress in the cases.
