Pakistan, Sept. 26 -- Virat Kohli has confirmed that the 2027 ODI World Cup will be his last for India. The veteran batter said winning the tournament remains his main motivation. Kohli currently represents India only in the 50-over format.

The 37-year-old has already retired from Test cricket and T20 internationals. He remains the leading century-maker in ODI cricket, with 54 hundreds. Kohli has also scored 14,941 runs in the format, behind only Sachin Tendulkar.

The 2027 World Cup will be Kohli's fifth ODI World Cup appearance. South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will jointly host the tournament. The competition is scheduled to take place during October and November next year.
