Pakistan, Sept. 20 -- A deadly terrorist attack on the old Kohat Police Lines during Friday prayers claimed the lives of at least 22 people, including 15 policemen, before security forces killed all eight attackers in a nearly 20-hour clearance operation.

Instead, police officers, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel, Elite Force commandos and security forces mounted a determined response, fighting through the night and completing a clearance operation that lasted around 20 hours.

According to police and security officials, all eight terrorists, including two suicide bombers, were killed during the operation.
