Pakistan, April 25 -- The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) based weekly inflation decreased by 0.33 percent during the week ended on April 23, 2026 for the combined consumption group, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported Friday. According to PBS data.
SPI for the week under review for the combined group fell to 352.04 points as compared to 353.21 points recorded in the previous week.
On year-on-year basis, the SPI increased by 13.98 percent. The weekly SPI with base year 2015-16 = 100 covers 17 urban centres and 51 essential items for all expenditure groups.
The SPI for the lowest consumption group (up to Rs 17,732) decreased by 0.41 percent to 331.60 points from 332.97 points.
