Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal said here on Monday that key economic indicators were showing positive trends despite internal and external challenges, with manufacturing, exports, remittances and foreign investment recording encouraging growth.

Launching the monthly Economic Development Update for September 2026, the minister said Pakistan had moved from the brink of default in 2022 towards macroeconomic stability and was now focusing on shifting from stabilisation to sustainable, export-led growth.
