Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- The tall claims of the Businessmen Group (BMG) and the Businessmen Alliance (BMA) in the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Elections 2026-28 have been completely exposed as the business community rejected both by staying away from the polling.

Despite all-out efforts, advertisements, and mobilization, especially by the BMG, only 21.2 percent turnout was recorded. Out of 16,885 eligible voters, only 3,582 cast their votes. It means 79 percent of KCCI members did not even bother to come to vote - which is being questioned as a clear vote of no-confidence mainly against BMG's leadership, which claims to be the undisputed representative of the metropolis.
