Pakistan, April 3 -- Karachi recorded no rainfall on Friday following torrential rain the previous day, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said. The recent downpour has claimed six lives, including one overnight electrocution in Gulistan-i-Jauhar. Rescue officials reported that the fatalities occurred in separate incidents amid heavy rainfall.
On Thursday, the city administration declared an emergency as four people died from electrocution and another from a wall collapse. Vehicles were stranded on flooded roads across the metropolis, disrupting daily life.
