Pakistan, June 29 -- The Karachi Rangers camp attack investigation took a new turn after an injured suspect arrested in connection with the incident claimed that he is from Afghanistan and received militant training there. The suspect also alleged that he entered Pakistan with other members of the group as part of the attack plan.
According to his statement, the suspect identified himself as Usman Ali and claimed he was accompanied by three others named Abdul Hadi, Janan, and Umar Farooq. He alleged that Janan threw the explosive device at the Pakistan Rangers camp, while the group had entered Pakistan seven days earlier and stayed with Abdul Hadi, who was later killed during the operation.
