Pakistan, May 27 -- Police in Karachi have arrested a suspect accused of killing a married couple who had entered into a love marriage. According to investigators, the accused has been identified as Sajid, the brother of the deceased woman, Nadia. Moreover, police said the killings were carried out in the name of family honor.

Authorities stated that the incident took place when Nadia and her husband, Najeeullah, were returning from Malir Court in a car on Monday. During the journey, two attackers on a motorcycle approached the vehicle. Furthermore, police said the passenger on the motorcycle opened fire on the moving car, killing both victims at the scene.
