Pakistan, May 3 -- In a major step towards promoting sustainable development, reducing the city's carbon footprint, and creating affordable energy opportunities for citizens, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has offered land to K-Electric for the establishment of solar parks and electric vehicle charging stations across Karachi on flexible terms.
The offer was made during an important meeting held at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Head Office between Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab and a high-level delegation of K-Electric led by its newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Syed Taha Hussain.
