Pakistan, June 9 -- Karachi is preparing for an intense heatwave as temperatures are expected to climb up to 43 degrees Celsius over the next few days. The Meteorological Department has warned residents to take strict precautionary measures as heat conditions continue to intensify across the city.

According to the latest forecast, temperatures in Karachi may remain between 41degC and 43degC from June 10 to 12. Additionally, high humidity levels are expected to increase the heat index, making the temperature feel as high as 50degC during peak daytime hours.
