Pakistan, June 4 -- The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has announced a local public holiday on June 8 in observance of the annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi.

According to an official notification issued by KMC's Human Resource Management Department, the holiday will be observed on June 8, corresponding to 22 Zilhaj 1447 AH. The decision was taken following a resolution approved by the Karachi City Council and endorsed by the competent authority.
