Pakistan, July 22 -- At least 20 people have died and 19 others were injured in rain-related incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since July 19, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said on Wednesday. Heavy rains and flash floods triggered roof collapses and swept away residents. Authorities warned more rainfall is expected through July 23.

According to the PDMA, the victims included seven men, eight children, and three women. The incidents were reported in Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Bajaur, Chitral, Dir, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kurram, and the North and South Waziristan districts.
