Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Justus Kelley has made history as the first married woman with children to win Miss USA. The 31-year-old Virginia contestant won the national title during a televised ceremony on Friday. She will represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant.

Kelley also became the oldest winner in the competition's history. Last year's Miss USA, Audrey Eckert, crowned Kelley during the ceremony. The new titleholder will compete at the Miss Universe event in Puerto Rico later this year.

Miss USA rules previously prevented married women and mothers from entering the competition. Organisers changed those restrictions in 2023, allowing married contestants and mothers to compete. The pageant also removed its previous age limi...
