Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- Jamaat-e-Islami's sit-in against the petroleum levy entered its third day in Lahore on Tuesday, as the party prepared to bring workers from different districts across Punjab. The protest organisers have planned a phased mobilisation strategy to ensure continuous participation throughout the eight-day demonstration. Convoys from several districts of central and eastern Punjab are expected to reach the venue today. However, participants will return to their respective districts late at night after taking part in the protest.
