Pakistan, July 24 -- Veteran actor Javed Sheikh has revealed that he did not want to accept any payment for his role in the 2007 Bollywood hit Om Shanti Om.

He said it was a great honour to play Shah Rukh Khan's father and work in such a major film.

In a recent interview, Sheikh recalled his time on the film's set and praised both Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan for treating him with great respect. He said they shared a warm friendship during filming and that Shah Rukh looked after him throughout the project.
