Pakistan, April 21 -- The Treet ITF Pakistan Syed Dilawar Abbas Memorial Junior Tennis Championship (J-60, Leg-3) kicked off here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Monday.

Tariq Murtza, Chairman of the Islamabad Tennis Association, inaugurated the championships.

A total of 24 boys and 20 girls from 16 countries, including Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, Russia, Poland, South Korea, Sri Lanka, USA, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Netherlands, and Thailand, are participating in the championship.

The event is organised annually in memory of Late Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas, who served as President of the Pakistan

Tennis Federation from 2001 to 2009, as a tribute to his legacy, passion, and love for tennis.
