Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- Israeli military strikes continued across the Gaza Strip despite reported progress on the implementation of US President Donald Trump Gaza peace initiative, with Palestinian health authorities saying at least 18 people, including children, were killed in the latest attacks.

According to Palestinian officials, Israeli airstrikes targeted residential areas in Gaza City, Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah and Jabalia, causing further casualties and widespread destruction. Medical authorities said several homes were hit during the bombardment, while hospitals and medical supply warehouses also came under attack.
