Pakistan, June 20 -- At least five people were killed in Israeli air and drone strikes in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese state media. The attacks occurred shortly after a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect. The incident raises concerns about the stability of the newly announced truce.

Lebanon's National News reported that Israeli warplanes and drones targeted several areas in the Nabatieh region overnight and into Saturday morning. Residential buildings and homes were destroyed during the strikes. Israeli artillery also shelled Nabatieh and surrounding areas before dawn, causing further damage and casualties.
