Pakistan, Sept. 10 -- An Israeli airstrike killed a Palestinian couple and their two daughters in northern Gaza on Thursday. Health officials said the girls were aged eight and 12. The strike hit a house in Beit Lahiya as Israeli bombardment intensified across the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the attack in Beit Lahiya. The strike came despite a ceasefire that halted large-scale fighting in October 2025. However, Israeli attacks have continued while efforts toward a permanent peace remain limited.
