Pakistan, May 20 -- The killing of Palestinian teens in the West Bank by Israeli forces has raised renewed concern, with reports indicating that minors are being killed at a rate of roughly one per week since the escalation of military operations in the region.

According to data cited by UNICEF, at least 70 Palestinian teenagers, mostly aged 15 to 16, have been killed since January 2025 across the West Bank, with the majority reportedly shot by Israeli forces. The figures mark a sharp rise compared to earlier years, when the rate stood at approximately one minor killed every three weeks.
