Pakistan, July 25 -- Israeli forces detained at least 48 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank on Saturday. Meanwhile, eight Palestinians were injured in a separate attack by Israeli settlers, according to Palestinian media and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

The official Voice of Palestine radio reported that more than 40 Palestinians were arrested in the town of Tell, west of Nablus. According to the broadcaster, Israeli troops also seized a house and turned it into a field interrogation center.
