Pakistan, Aug. 9 -- Israel has revoked the entry permits of American Jewish activists involved in protests supporting Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The activists said their permits were cancelled after volunteer work in Masafer Yatta.

Activist Sam Sherman told The Forward that he received an email cancelling his travel permit. He said several participants received similar notices within minutes of each other.

Sherman was taking part in a seven-week volunteer programme supporting Palestinians in Masafer Yatta. He said soldiers, police and armed settlers photographed his passport during confrontations.
