Pakistan, May 1 -- Israeli warplanes have carried out air strikes on the town of Qlawiyah in Lebanon's Bint Jbeil district, according to Lebanon's official National News .
A convoy of vehicles was also hit in the town, killing one person, the report said.
The latest casualties bring the total number of those killed by Israeli attacks in Lebanon on Thursday to at least 28, according to NNA reports.
Since March 2, Israel has waged a deadly offensive on Lebanon that has killed at least 2,534 people, wounded 7,863 and displaced more than 1.6 million - about one-fifth of the population - according to official figures.
