Pakistan, May 2 -- Israeli authorities have brought two activists from a Gaza-bound aid flotilla to Israel for questioning, according to the foreign ministry. The move follows the interception of multiple vessels by Israeli naval forces earlier this week. The activists are expected to face further investigation by law enforcement authorities.
The detained individuals were identified as Saif Abu Keshek from Spain and Thiago Avila from Brazil. Israel said both are linked to the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA). The group has been sanctioned by the United States over alleged ties to Hamas-related activities.
