Pakistan, April 21 -- Israel said Tuesday it is intensifying military and diplomatic pressure to force Hezbollah's disarmament in Lebanon. The announcement comes as cross-border tensions remain high despite a recent ceasefire. The developments raise concerns for civilians in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.
Defence Minister Israel Katz said the campaign targets Hezbollah's weapons and military structure. He stated that Israel is combining ground operations with diplomatic efforts. Moreover, he linked the objective to removing long-term threats to border communities.
