Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday handed over 50 electric vehicles to Islamabad Police. The initiative aims to support modern, safer and environmentally friendly policing in the capital. The vehicles will be used by the newly established Capital Patrol force.
The prime minister presented the vehicle keys to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Islamabad IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Several federal ministers and senior officials also attended the ceremony. The event focused on modernising policing through technology and improved resources.
