Pakistan, Sept. 9 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday attended a ceremony marking the handover of 50 electric vehicles to the Islamabad Police to promote modern, safe and environment-friendly policing, the PM Office said.

During the ceremony, according to the PMO, the prime minister handed over the keys of the electric vehicles to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Islamabad Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Minister of State Talal Chaudhry and other relevant officials also attended the ceremony.
