Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Islamabad Traffic Police has announced a detailed traffic diversion plan for Independence Day celebrations at the Victory Monument in H-8, with several major roads facing restrictions.

The entry of heavy vehicles into Islamabad will remain prohibited from midnight on August 12 until midnight on August 14. Light traffic will also face diversions.

Traffic from Koral Chowk towards Khayaban Chowk, including both sides of the Expressway and Faisal Avenue, will remain closed. Alternative routes include Khanna Pul, Lehtrar Road, Park Road and Murree Road.
