Pakistan, July 31 -- Intermittent monsoon rain continued across Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Friday, prompting the Water and Sanitation to maintain a high alert. Authorities deployed emergency teams to prevent urban flooding and respond to any weather-related emergencies.
WASA Managing Director said emergency staff and heavy machinery had been positioned in low-lying areas. Meanwhile, officials continued monitoring Nullah Lai, where the water level remained within normal limits.
