Pakistan, Aug. 23 -- Ishaq Dar UK visit will begin on Monday as the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister travels to Britain for five days. Dar will meet senior British officials to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss shared interests.

Dar will hold talks with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband and Minister of State Stephen Doughty. He will also meet other senior officials to discuss cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

A major issue on his agenda involves Pakistani sailors held by Somali pirates. Dar plans to meet the International Maritime Organisation secretary-general and seek progress toward their safe release.
