Pakistan, Sept. 6 -- Ishaq Dar conveyed Pakistan's heartfelt condolences to Norway following the death of King Harald V. The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister spoke by phone with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. Dar extended condolences to the royal family and Norwegian people on behalf of Pakistan's leadership and citizens.

Dar expressed sympathy on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and himself. He said Pakistan stands with Norway during this time of mourning. The two countries have maintained friendly relations and continue to cooperate on various matters.
