Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- Ireland's construction sector growth resumed in July, with activity and new business recovering after a sharp slowdown in June. The latest AIB Construction PMI showed the Total Activity Index rising to 53.0 from 45.4, signaling a return to expansion.
The July reading marked a significant improvement for Ireland's construction industry as the sector entered the third quarter. Activity has now increased in four of the past six months, while commercial, residential and civil engineering construction all recorded growth for the first time in 15 months.
