Pakistan, May 14 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the United Arab Emirates of being directly involved in actions against Iran. He made the remarks while addressing a BRICS forum, saying regional unity was being undermined by certain policies. The statement highlights growing diplomatic tensions between Tehran and Abu Dhabi.

Araghchi said the UAE did not even condemn attacks on Iran when they began. He added that Iran had avoided naming the UAE earlier in the interest of regional solidarity. The Iranian minister urged Abu Dhabi to reconsider its policy toward Tehran and adopt a more balanced approach.
