Pakistan, July 16 -- Iran's army warned the United States of possible military "surprises" if Washington continues attacks on Iranian territory and violates a memorandum of understanding. The warning came amid rising tensions between the two countries. Tehran said further escalation could trigger a stronger response.

Iranian army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said US officials would face unexpected challenges if they continued what he described as aggressive policies. He claimed Iran's military could respond in ways and locations Washington would not anticipate. The statement was carried by Iranian media.
