Pakistan, Sept. 24 -- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump was still open to making a deal with Iran to end the war while emphasising that the US would not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

"The core issue is that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon; we make that point in every interaction with them. If there is going to be a deal on Iran, it's not going to happen at a press conference.
