Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- US President Donald Trump said Iran would never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. He also said Washington could reach a deal with Tehran after the US midterm elections. Trump made the remarks while addressing the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Trump said negotiations had started to address Iran's nuclear programme, but Tehran had rejected them. He warned that Iran would face further consequences if it refused a possible agreement. Trump also urged countries to maintain economic pressure on Tehran.
