Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Iran has considered striking US military assets in Europe if Washington escalates the conflict, the Financial Times reported Wednesday. The report said Iranian forces have assessed potential targets in southeastern Europe as Tehran considers options beyond the Middle East.
Citing two people close to the Iranian government, the report identified Bulgaria among countries whose US-linked facilities were assessed. Bulgaria recently approved the use of its Bezmer air base by US refuelling aircraft, according to the report.
