Pakistan, Oct. 1 -- Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei has warned the United Arab Emirates over hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Rezaei said the move could have negative consequences for the UAE. He issued the warning in an Arabic-language statement following Netanyahu's recent visit to Abu Dhabi.

Rezaei said hosting US military bases had failed to provide the UAE with security. He argued that hosting what he called the "butcher of Gaza" would also not produce positive results.
