Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- Iran has warned Bahrain and other regional states against allowing attacks on Iran from their territory or airspace. Tehran said such use could trigger a response if it happens again. The warning highlights concerns over any future use of regional territory or airspace for attacks against Iran.

Ali Karimi Magham, Iran's second secretary at the UN mission, issued the warning Monday. He spoke before the UN Third Committee while responding to remarks by Bahrain's representative. Karimi Magham said Bahrain had overlooked the circumstances behind the events it discussed. He challenged Bahrain's account during the committee session.
