Pakistan, Sept. 10 -- Crude oil prices surged in global markets as tensions between Iran and the United States continued to rise. The sharp increase pushed international oil prices to their highest level in three months. The development raised fresh concerns about stability in global energy markets.
Brent crude recorded a 4.05 percent increase during trading. Its price moved above $105 per barrel following the latest rise. Brent serves as a major benchmark for global oil prices and influences energy markets worldwide.
Meanwhile, US crude also posted a significant gain during trading. West Texas Intermediate climbed 4.66 percent to reach $100.50 per barrel. The increase pushed both major oil benchmarks to notably higher levels.
