Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said restoring diplomatic channels with the United States remains possible. He said Washington must abandon pressure tactics against Iran before diplomacy can resume. Araghchi made the remarks after talks with Qatar's prime minister in Tehran.

Araghchi said he held creative discussions with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Their talks focused on reducing regional tensions and exploring diplomatic options. He said diplomacy could return to the right path if the United States changed its approach.
