Pakistan, May 9 -- Iran has said it is carefully reviewing proposals from the United States (US) and will announce its position only after reaching a final decision, signalling a measured approach to ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran was currently assessing US proposals and was not operating under any external deadlines.

Speaking in a statement, Baghaei noted that Iran would make an official announcement once a final conclusion is reached. "We are doing our work and are not paying attention to any deadlines," he said, underlining Tehran's position that negotiations and decisions would proceed according to its own timeline.
