Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the recent Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States was reached with "dignity" and "strength."

Pezeshkian said the agreement was concluded in line with the principles upheld by Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to Iran's ISNA news .

He described the memorandum as a significant achievement and a reflection of Iran's strength and commitment to diplomacy while preserving its dignity and independence.

Meanwhile, Iranian parliament speaker and top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says that Iran achieved "true victory" in the war with the United States, Iran's ISNA news reports.
