Pakistan, July 17 -- Iran's Health Ministry said at least 38 people have been killed and more than 400 injured since US strikes resumed on June 22. The updated casualty figures highlight the growing human cost of the conflict. Civilians, including women and children, are among those affected, according to Iranian officials.
Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour announced the figures in a post on X. He said the number of injured has exceeded 400 since the start of the latest US attacks. Iranian authorities described those killed as martyrs and said hospitals continue treating the wounded.
