Pakistan, May 4 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has released a new map showing what it describes as areas under Iranian control in the Strait of Hormuz, escalating tensions in the already volatile waterway. The move comes amid heightened military warnings and rising regional instability linked to maritime security.
According to Iranian state-linked media, the map highlights a line between Iran's Koh-e Mobarak area in the south and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The depiction appears to assert operational control and monitoring authority over key parts of the strategic sea route.
