Pakistan, July 29 -- Iran has rejected Oman's proposal for regional joint management of the Strait of Hormuz, according to a senior Iranian official. The decision affects regional diplomatic efforts over one of the world's most strategic shipping routes. The official said the proposal has no chance of success.
