Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- Iran has said it is fully prepared to respond to any action by the United States. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also said it had prepared for economic pressure. The statement comes as tensions between Tehran and Washington remain high.

IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Mohbi said Iran had developed a strategy against an economic war. He referred to US President Donald Trump's warning about intensifying economic pressure. Mohbi described the warning as evidence of US difficulties in the military field.
