Pakistan, April 8 -- Iran may withdraw from the recent US-brokered ceasefire if Israel continues attacks on Lebanon, Iranian media reported Wednesday. Sources cited by Tasnim news said Tehran is evaluating options to respond. The warning comes amid rising tensions in the region, with dozens killed in renewed Israeli strikes.
The ceasefire, agreed two weeks ago, aimed to halt hostilities across multiple fronts, including Israeli actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon. However, Israel launched fresh attacks on Lebanon early Wednesday, violating the agreement, according to Iranian sources. The strikes threaten to undermine regional stability and risk drawing Iran back into conflict.
