Pakistan, Sept. 20 -- Iran has conveyed its conditions to the United States through intermediaries, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Sunday. He told parliament that Tehran had sent clear messages to Washington while diplomatic efforts continued amid rising tensions. Ghalibaf said Iran was waiting for the other side to respond to its demands.

Ghalibaf said there was frequent discussion about war, but no clear plan existed to bring the conflict to an effective end. He argued that Iran should pursue military action and negotiations at the same time. According to him, Tehran would use military force against its adversaries while turning to diplomacy when appropriate.
